Two ways to use this site.

Visitors use it to find the business featured in a city and trade. Business owners use it to pay for that featured spot for a fixed time.

If you need a service

Looking, not listing.

You do not need an account. Start from the city you are in.

Choose a city
Oshawa, Ajax, Whitby, or Pickering.
Choose a trade
Plumber, electrician, HVAC, roofer, or landscaping. More trades can be added later.
See who is featured
One business is shown for that city and trade. The page says it is a paid placement.
Contact them directly
Use the website, call, or directions buttons. LocalTopSpot does not take the inquiry for them.

If you own a business

This is for service businesses that want to be the highlighted listing, not a general directory entry.

Submit your business
Choose your region and city. If your trade is not listed, choose Other and name it. That request is reviewed before it becomes a public category.
Wait for review
We check the details so the public page does not fill up with junk listings.
Open your private link
After approval, the link sent to your email opens only your listing. That is your owner page.
Pay for a fixed time
Seven days is $6.99, about $1 a day, billed once. There is one spot per city and trade.
Renew when you want to stay
Renewal extends your current placement. It does not bid against another business.

Is the featured business the best one?
No. The featured business paid for that placement. It is not chosen from reviews, ratings, or a quality ranking.
Can a business jump ahead by paying more?
Not in this version. There is one featured spot for each city and trade. A business keeps it for the time they paid for, then renews if they want to stay.
Does featured placement guarantee calls or customers?
No. It gives the business a highlighted listing. Visitors decide whether to call, visit the website, or get directions.
